International training of future intergenerational coaches took place in Prague in February. Five-day training was attended by 15 participants from five partner countries (CR, SLO, PL, DE, FR) involved in our project. The training was focused on intergenerational cooperation, specifically on the preparation, planning and implementation of intergenerational meetings across Europe, on closer understanding of the psychological and sociological aspects of the main target group of children and seniors, but also on a wide range of soft skills such as communication. Last but not least, a new Register of Activities was presented to participants, which will serve as a comprehensive source of inspiration and ideas for intergenerational meetings.
